A New Salmon Restoration Logo is Available
Hancock Timber Resource Group commissioned a Seattle graphic designer to develop a symbol that distills in a single image a sense of the power and beauty of the pacific salmon. Their goal is to encourage recognition of cooperative salmon restoration efforts by providing a logo that is common ground to all. The logo has been placed in the public domain, without a copyright. Hancock Timber Resource Group encourages local watershed groups to use the logo on letterhead, signs, newsletters, business cards, brochures(etc.). A color print, black and white logo sheets and usage specifications, and diskettes in both PC and Mac formats are available. Both diskettes have the logo in black and white EPS and TIFF formats, and in EPS format for the two-color split and blended versions. They can be placed directly into most page layout and word processing programs. Please, contact Jennifer Kovach at the Rockey Co. (2121 5th Ave. Seattle, WA 98121.) ( Phone #: 206-728-1100.
